The Award Winning Cabin at Wyatt Hall
This log cabin was restored by a veterinarian craftsman. His local historic preservation society gave him an award for his excellent craftsmanship.
I was invited to photograph the cabin when it was finished. As I moved my tripod and camera throughout, It spoke to me and said:
“I am meticulously crafted of wood and stone in a process spanning generations of people who did not know each other. I rest not where I was built, but where I was resurrected. Better than preserved, I was reconstructed into a vision for living amongst things of history. Now better than historic, I am present. No longer just an old log structure, I am the Log House at Wyatt Hall. I have found my place, and no one can take that away.โ
